Both Stephen Fleming and Ros Taylor have scored three double centuries for New Zealand.
Kane Williamson’s Test Records
Williamson made his test debut in 2010 and scored his first double-century in 2015 against Sri Lanka. His second double-century came after four years and ten innings later. In 2019, he scored 200* against Bangladesh, which was his 20th test innings. His third double-century came against West Indies last year. It took him exactly a month to hit the fourth double-century.
He has scored a double-century in the first, second, and third innings of a test match. He is yet to score a double-century in the fourth innings of a test match.
Don Bradman has scored the most number of double-centuries in test cricket. He scored 12 double-centuries in 80 innings. Kumar Sangakkara is next in the line and has scored 11 double-centuries in 233 innings.
For India, Virat Kohli has scored seven double-centuries. Ricky Ponting, the former Australian captain, has scored six double-centuries. Wally Hammond, who once broke Don Bradman’s record of the highest score in test cricket, has scored the most number of double-centuries (7) for England. Graeme Smith has scored five double-centuries, the most for South Africa. Younis Khan has scored six double-centuries for Pakistan. Brian Lara has scored nine double-centuries for West Indies. Mushfiqur Rahim has scored three double-century for Bangladesh. Four players have scored a double-centuries for Zimbabwe.
